READING – Peter Brett Associates is pleased to announce that Glen Player has joined the Practice as an Equity Director in its Reading office. Glen has worked for major engineers and contractors, and brings a wealth of experience in managing and delivering civil engineering and transportation projects for clients in the public and private sectors, including Highways England, the Department for Transport and Network Rail.

Before joining PBA, he was responsible for the management and leadership of WSP I Parsons Brinckerhoff’s civil engineering business in the South of England. Prior to that, he spent 10 years as Director of Professional Services at Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering.

“We are delighted to have Glen joining us,” said PBA Partner Scott Witchalls.“With his considerable experience, he will focus on building our market share of some of the major transport construction projects that have been committed by Government in recent announcements, and in leading, growing and developing our civil engineering practice.”

“I am looking forward to helping the practice develop and contributing to its wider strategic aims and objectives,” said Glen. “I bring a strong project and client-focused approach, building long-term relationships with clients and strategic partners – and will use this approach to support and enhance PBA’s already excellent reputation in the market.”
