BIRMINGHAM – PBA has today announced that Tim Allen, a PBA Partner since 2007, has relocated to lead its Birmingham office further strengthening the existing team for the benefit of PBA’s clients in the Midlands area. The announcement reflects PBA’s commitment to the Midlands, and demonstrates its desire to have the right resources available to maximise the new opportunities and growth evident within Birmingham and the surrounding communities.
“We’re thrilled to be able to announce Tim’s move to Birmingham,” said Keith Mitchell, PBA Chairman. “Birmingham is about to welcome HS2 and has exciting plans to capitalise on this investment. The knowledge and experience Tim has gained dealing with the implications of HS1 in Ashford, Ebbsfleet and King's Cross, combined with the team’s experience of transport and regeneration plans in Birmingham and the wider region, will put PBA in the ideal position to help the area capitalise on the benefits that the arrival of HS2 will bring.”
Tim commented, “I am convinced that Birmingham, and the Midlands are in the midst of a period of unparalleled growth, with a world-class profile for inward investment and opportunity. So, after twenty years based in the South East, I am excited about the opportunities that a Birmingham base will bring. I expect to continue to serve the clients I already have across the UK, but to broaden this into new connections and projects focused on the Midlands.”
Tim is a transport planning professional with extensive experience across both the public and private sectors. He specialises in providing multi-disciplinary support to the planning process on a wide range of urban regeneration and development projects, including Ebbsfleet Garden City, Dover Waterfront, Houghton Regis, Dunstable, and the mixed-use sustainable development around Ebbsfleet International station.
