READING - PBA’s continued success has secured another award for the practice: Best Owner-Managed Business in the Thames Valley 250 list of the top private businesses in the region. The list has PBA at number 77, up from number 119 last year. We are described by The Business Magazine as “an example of a fast-growing firm in the services sector”, with our sales jumping from £32m to £47.4m over the past year.

“It’s great to have won this award as we celebrate our 50th year in business in the Thames Valley,” said PBA Partner Scott Witchalls. “It shows the importance of PBA as a presence in the region, and demonstrates our commitment to growth, driven by creating jobs and developing the skills of our future business leaders.”

The £23 billion-plus list, now in its sixth year, is the key ranking of privately-owned businesses that have their headquarters in the Thames Valley. Together, these companies employ nearly 120,000 people.

Based on accounts at Companies House, plus financial data sources such as Experian and FAME, the TV 250 is compiled by The Business Magazine and sponsored by HSBC, business advisers Grant Thornton and law firm Blake Morgan.
