LEEDS – PBA launched its offering in Leeds to a select group of local businesses and dignitaries during a sparkling lunch event at The Tetley on 9 November.
The event was hosted by PBA Chairman Keith Mitchell who introduced guest speakers David Shepherd, Director of Trade and Investment, LEP, and Harry Gration, MBE.
David Shepherd painted a promising picture of business futures in Leeds and welcomed PBA to the city, sharing stories of where PBA have previously worked with the LEP to secure projects across the local area. He commented:
“Times across our region are good and we now have a platform to make them even better. £13bn of infrastructure projects are underway and in the year to June 2017, the overall value of Yorkshire and Humber trade in goods exported increased by 13% compared with the same period to June 2016.
We will continue to build on our current success and private and public sector partnerships are key to taking the region forward.”
Harry Gration, journalist and presenter on Look North, followed David, sharing stories from his long and illustrious career, throughout which his passion for the area was evident.
PBA opened a new office in Leeds to build on our existing northern presence in Scotland and Manchester. We are already engaged in a number of projects in and around Leeds, including HS2, the redevelopment of The Tetley Brewery and out-of-town business park, Thorpe Park.
