Margaret is a transport planner with a successful track record of providing transport advice and support to clients from development proposals to planning. She has been involved in developments of all sizes, from the very large, such the Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration project for Hammerson UK/ Standard Life Investments and Crossrail, to the very constrained or otherwise tricky small developments.
Margaret brings a unique blend of skills and experience gained in traffic engineering and road safety engineering, as well as transport planning, local government, consultancy, and academic contexts. She brings a collaborative approach that is routed in evidence, rigor, and practicality but embraces fresh thinking in order to help clients realise their objectives.
At Brent Cross Margaret led an extensive team of transport planners and modellers working to deliver technical transport support to the clients, in their successful Section 73 and detailed planning applications. In other projects this collaborative approach has resulted in effective transport solutions to complex problems and a smoother route to approval. Projects Margaret has contributed to whilst at PBA include Kensal Canalside Development Infrastructure Funding Study for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea; master planning for OPDC on Victoria Road and Old Oak Lane in Ealing and the leisure expansion of the Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield for British Land.
Margaret is a Director in our London office and is responsible for the London Transport Planning team. She has more than 25 years’ experience of delivering high quality transport projects.
