Mark Brenton

Mark studied Geology at Cardiff University and holds a master’s degree in Geomaterials from Queen Mary College, London. With 30 years of experience, Mark has brought technical, management and business development skills to ground engineering, environmental planning, land quality, EIA and due diligence work in the UK and overseas. He has worked on multi-disciplinary projects in land development, property, regeneration, buildings, water, waste, energy, infrastructure and rail.

Mark joined PBA as an Equity Director in 2014 and has a broad remit for leadership, technical oversight and business development within the Geotechnical and Environmental businesses. He is retained in an advisory role by Marshall Group, who own and operate Cambridge Airport, where he has a Group Environmental Executive function. He has previously held a number of executive and non-executive board positions, and as Managing Director for MLM Environmental, Mark oversaw business acquisitions and the opening of new offices.

Mark’s project work at PBA covers mineral extraction and restoration, urban extension and housing schemes, infrastructure and transportation, major leisure schemes, waste and buildings projects. Notable projects include Great Billing Minerals and Restoration Scheme, Alconbury Weald, Center Parcs Ireland, East Kettering SUE, Waterbeach Airfield Redevelopment, and the Marshalls WING project.
