Michael joined Peter Brett Associates in 1995, and became a Partner in 2004. He currently has overall responsibility for PBA’s offices in the Midlands, Northern England and Scotland. Michael also plays an active role in technical development across the Practice. He holds a degree in Engineering and Management from the University of Durham.
Michael’s speciality is land development planning and delivery, and he has extensive experience in the project management and design of multi-disciplinary projects; working with public and private sector clients on brownfield and greenfield sites for mixed-use residential, commercial and industrial schemes, including Paradise Birmingham, Birmingham’s Cycle Revolution scheme and the development of land around the Silverstone racing circuit. He also oversees PBA’s involvement in the motorsport sector, managing work at Silverstone, Brands Hatch, Snetterton, Cadwell Park and the Bedford Autodrome.
Michael has extensive experience in providing expert advice through public inquiry and dispute resolution, covering most aspects of highway design, drainage design, utility provision and land development.
