Neil joined PBA in 2000 and is now Director of Transport for the Bristol office. As well as local responsibilities in the operational management of the transport teams in the South West, Neil chairs PBA’s national Transport Innovation Group, responsible for ensuring collaboration and sharing of best practice, and driving innovation in effective transport solutions for our clients.

A highly skilled development consultant, Neil has extensive experience in the planning and implementation of a wide variety of transport and multidisciplinary projects. Neil has been responsible for providing advice on residential, commercial, education, energy and waste and mixed use developments across the UK acting for housebuilders, asset owners, and landowners.

Neil’s expertise lies in the development of sustainable transport solutions to support strategic land development schemes, acting as a project manager or client advisor, coordinating teams through the planning and development cycle. With his specialist skills in transport, Neil also acts for clients as an Expert Witness at Public Inquiries, Informal Hearings and Local Plan / Core Strategy EiPs.

Significant projects that Neil has contributed to include strategic residential-led developments at North Whiteley, Charlton Hayes and The Vale; major employment development at Bristol and Bath Science Park, Gloucester Business Park, Huntspill Energy Park and the North Fringe of Bristol at Aztec West, Airbus Technology Park and East Works, and Portsmouth Naval Base 2030 Plan.
