Paul Jenkin

Paul joined Peter Brett Associates in 1994 and became a Partner in 2005. Paul currently leads the water management group within the Practice. He has a degree in Mining Engineering from the Camborne School of Mines and a Master’s degree in Water Resources from the University of Birmingham.

Paul has extensive experience in strategic flood risk management, and manages projects that include river and coastal engineering, water cycle studies, hydro-power, river and lake restoration projects, sustainable drainage schemes, water resources, engineering, hydrological and hydraulic modelling and ecology. He has delivered flood risk assessments, EIA and ES projects for both public and private sector organisations and also provides an expert view both in planning applications and appeals and legal disputes. 

Paul often works on the water management element of urban regeneration projects, including redevelopment alongside the River Stour in Stourbridge and on the Maidenhead Waterways Regeneration project. He also oversees the delivery of coastal defence improvement schemes around the UK, and has worked closely with the Environment Agency through its Water and Environment Management Framework.
