Scott Witchalls, Partner - Land Development, Infrastructure and Transport 9 Oct 2015
Scott is a Partner of Peter Brett Associates and leads the management and delivery of area-wide transport strategies and major land development projects both in the UK and overseas. He has a Master’s degree in Transportation Planning and Engineering from Southampton University.
Scott has over 30 years’ experience in transportation planning and development master planning with a focus on sustainable development strategy and implementation. His expertise includes overall project management, urban regeneration and design, strategic planning, transport system appraisal, engineering design, environmental impact assessment and expert witness roles for public and private sector clients.
Scott has been responsible for developing and delivering the transport plans for a number of major projects including Ebbsfleet station and development area on the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (8Msq.ft), the Krakow transport hub major regeneration project in Poland (4Msq.ft), the Reading station area renaissance project (3Msq.ft), and the transport strategy for the Thames Tideway Tunnel in London, in addition to many major urban extension schemes across the UK.
He has spoken at numerous transport and property conferences in the UK, and is a visiting Lecturer at the University of Reading for the MSc/PGDip in Design and Management of Sustainable Urban Environments, and for Henley Business School MSc students covering Smart Cities and Housing. In May 2017, Scott was presented with the Outstanding Contribution Award at the 2017 Thames Valley Property Awards, for his ongoing work to deliver infrastructure, development, investment, and growth across the Thames Valley.
