We have an extensive history and experience servicing the industrial sector. Typically our advice commences at the project inception, providing advice through the planning process, and then through the delivery phases, to completion and occupation of buildings. We also advise on aspects post construction, such as ongoing maintenance and refurbishment issues of buildings and sites, together with site rationalisation plans.
Through our Freight and Logistics team we also advise clients about the operations of their business. We employ a risk assessment based approach to foundation and building design and often utilise pioneering solutions for high bay warehousing, power stations, mezzanine flooring and slab design.
We are committed to improvements in construction and adopt a 'design for manufacture' integrated approach to steelwork design. We developed advanced flat roof framing concepts for industrial buildings which minimises waste associated with pitched roof framing. This expanded into a unique floor construction system developed by ourselves, and publication of design guides for engineers.
