We have been part of the minerals sector in the UK for over 20 years. Our projects have ranged from some of the largest quarries in the UK - such as Glensanda Superquarry, Bardon Hill, Torr Quarry, and Ffos-y-Fran Opencast Coal Site - through to small- and medium-sized quarry extensions and boutique projects for the Duchy of Cornwall.
The scope of our input includes mineral resource evaluation, planning/EIA, transportation and traffic assessment to slope stability, noise and vibration studies, air quality and dust assessments, flood risk and drainage, landscape and visual, dewatering, and hydrogeological impact assessment.
Our clients include Holcim (Aggregate Industries and Bardon Aggregates), Cemex, Somerset County Council, Surrey County Council, Argent/Miller Mining, the Duchy of Cornwall, Ibstock Plc, Lafarge, Raymond Brown Group, Anglian Water, Tarmac and many smaller organisations.
The regeneration of small- and large-scale areas of quarrying has been another success for us, particularly in Hampton, Peterborough, where we have been working since 1999 to deliver a new township from 1,000 hectares of former clay pits.
