Ebbsfleet Valley Development,
Kent Thameside, UK
Collaborating to produce high quality living environments
The Ebbsfleet Valley development is an exemplar, sustainable community which will include residential, retail and commercial elements. Through our close collaboration with stakeholders and provision of a wide range of services are helping the vision become a reality.
Located in the Thames Gateway, it is a high profile project and in line with the government’s twenty year regeneration strategy for the area. Well connected to domestic and international rail services, this development is an example of a modern, people-centric living environment with a focus on sustainable transport and natural beauty.
To support the vision of a high quality living environment, we worked closely with regulatory agencies to provide engineering works focused on pedestrian access and public transport. Typical elements such as road signage and guard railing, which draw attention away from the natural environment, were replaced with more discrete solutions that blend with the development’s overall aesthetics. We provided rigorous justifications for each choice to the Highways and Planning Authorities who collaboratively agreed on mutually acceptable results. The end product will be an attractive, modern and sustainable environment which will become more desirable with maturity.
