Strategy Development
In producing an Energy Strategy for a land development projects in the public and private sectors, PBA has the capability to model the likely carbon dioxide emissions and energy demand and profile. We then assess the various renewable energy and low carbon technologies and their appropriateness for the development, and interrogate the potential for ESCo partnering opportunities. The energy strategy produced can be submitted in support of outline, detailed and reserved matters planning applications.
We also undertaken reviews of fuel supply chains and the potential for developments to be self-sustaining in providing their own fuel as an alternative energy source. We facilitate the registration under Ofgem and the trading of Renewable Obligation Certificates. The energy team also offers detailed project design support post planning for wind, biomass anaerobic digestion, CHP and building-integrated technologies.
