Greg joined PBA over 15 years ago, and is now a Director. He is currently a leader within the London office and specialises in pre-planning advice for major infrastructure and development projects. He is the Practice leader on the universities sector.
Greg has over 23 years’ experience in the management of numerous projects, including public realm, development planning, traffic and environmental issues, incorporating work on master plans, transport assessments, public transport, traffic management schemes, environmental statements, development and regeneration planning, cycling studies, defensive planning, car parking studies, pedestrian studies and most recently, public transport interchange facilities, including HS2.
Greg has extensive experience in major regeneration projects for both the private and public sectors. Recent examples include major residential and commercial-led regeneration schemes, including Wembley, Bermondsey Spa, Heygate Estate (including Elephant & Castle), Lower Don Valley (Sheffield, including Meadowhall Shopping Centre), and Barking Riverside.
The scope of his advice includes planning submissions and the provision of development control to local authorities and interested parties. He is also experienced in the delivery of major green field site developments, such as North West Cambridge for Cambridge University and Fort Halstead in Sevenoaks.
Greg has delivered planning applications for several major retail schemes, including Ealing Broadway, Thurrock Lakeside, Whiteley Village, Belfast Exchange Square, Wembley (LDO), and Bluewater. He is also experienced in the project management of multi-disciplinary teams of planners and engineers in order to progress from the planning stage through to detailed design and implementation of major schemes.
