PBA has worked for Liberty Property Trust at Kings Hill for the last 25 years, providing long-term engineering advice to support the delivery of this large mixed-use development.

Kings Hill is a 260-hectare development located at the site of the former World War II West Malling Air Station. PBA was appointed to complete the primary infrastructure design and are currently acting as option engineering consultants for this long-term, large-scale scheme.

Schemes of this nature can be affected by market trends and shifting government policies which can limit profitability but PBA’s ability to liaise with local planning and highway authorities has supported the changing needs of the project and maintained its relevance.

So far, we have delivered:

• Design of Phase One infrastructure and approximately 8000m of a mix of minor distribution and major access roads, including drainage and strategic utilities.
• Design of Phase Two infrastructure and minor distribution and major access roads, including drainage and strategic utilities.
• Kings Hill Sports Park – design of infrastructure, earthworks modelling, access road, car park and building.
