Port of Leith Masterplanning, Scotland

PBA was part of the multidisciplinary team preparing a masterplan for this port’s development as Scotland’s main offshore wind manufacturing and deployment hub. We were responsible for detailed scoping specification and options appraisal, followed by a full economic appraisal.

We’ve continued to further develop the strategic and economic case, including analysis of funding mechanisms and potential state aid issues. Our team also examined comparative examples where investment in infrastructure has supported development of renewable energy activity in port areas.
